At GCU doctoral programs are non-traditional unlike students traditional doctoral programs students do not take courses; instead they are required to teach a minimum of four courses as adjunct professors.

Dissertation Requirements:
There is no comprehensive exams and dissertation proposals are submitted after acceptance in the program, upon approval by the doctoral committee the students gets in the dissertation writing phase parallel to others requirements.
