Hearing God speak is an exhilarating, intimate, unforgettable, ongoing experience. As we cultivate its art, we inspire our people to understand that the voice of God is nothing to fear. God is to be sought and then welcomed for companionship, comfort, rebuke, guidance, joy, and fulfillment. My prayer is that with a childlike heart of open belief, we can say with the boy Samuel, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”
